Best brokers in the UAE

Looking for an app to invest, or a broker to trade forex? Our Best Trading Platforms ranking covers apps and multi-asset investing. Best Forex Brokers covers spreads, MetaTrader and swap-free accounts.

Both start with the same question: which company you actually sign up with as a UAE resident, and who regulates it. We check every licence on the official register, and most brokers here were funded, traded and withdrawn from by us.

Best brokers FAQ

How does OnlineBroker.ae rank brokers?
We use structured data across fees, regulation, account opening, platforms, assets, support, Islamic accounts and UAE-specific factors, applied consistently via our methodology.
Which broker ranking should I read first?
Start with Best Trading Platforms in the UAE for an overall view, then a category ranking that matches what you want to trade.
Do affiliate partnerships affect rankings?
No. Rankings are editorially controlled. Affiliate status has no influence on scores or order. Where a card carries a Partner tag, that tag marks a commercial affiliate relationship with the broker: it is not paid placement and not a paid ranking position, and we take no payment for a place in a ranking or for the order of one.
Are these brokers available to UAE residents?
Yes. We only rank brokers available to UAE residents, and we note the legal entity and regulator that applies.
Do you open accounts with the brokers you rank?
Wherever we can, yes. The accounts behind these rankings are opened, funded, traded and withdrawn from as UAE residents, and the spreads, funding timings and conversion costs we publish are the ones we measured on them. Where a figure has not been measured, the table says so rather than carrying the broker's own number across.
Is my money protected if a broker ranked here fails?
No. Neither the DFSA, the FSRA nor the CMA runs an investor-compensation scheme. Client money has to be held apart from the firm's own money, so a solvent broker should be able to return it, which is not the same as being paid out if it fails. Some brokers custody your assets outside the UAE, where a different scheme may apply to the custodian. Never deposit more than you can afford to lose.
Does OnlineBroker.ae provide investment advice?
No. Our content is informational only and does not constitute personalised investment advice.

Disclaimer

eToro is a multi-asset platform which offers both investing in stocks and cryptoassets, as well as trading CFDs.

Please note that CFDs are complex instruments and come with a high risk of losing money rapidly due to leverage. 51% of retail investor accounts lose money when trading CFDs with this provider. You should consider whether you understand how CFDs work, and whether you can afford to take the high risk of losing your money.

UAE residents are onboarded to eToro (ME) Ltd, which holds Financial Services Permission 220073 from the Financial Services Regulatory Authority in ADGM. That entity operates no statutory investor compensation scheme: the UK's FSCS and the Cypriot ICF cover only clients of eToro's UK and EU entities and do not extend to UAE clients, and ADGM has no equivalent retail scheme. Client money is held in segregated accounts, which is not the same as being compensated if the firm fails.

Crypto assets are complex and carry a high risk of volatility and loss. Trading or investing in crypto assets may not be suitable for all investors.
